What data I collect

• Enquiry form: your full name, email address, website and project description.
• Email: the information you send me when you email me directly.
• Technical data: when you visit the site, your IP address and browser details are processed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse (e.g. Cloudflare Turnstile checks and form rate limiting). I don’t store this data.
• Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregated visit data (e.g. page views, pages, country) without cookies. Google Analytics only runs if you allow it in the cookie banner.

Why I process data and on what legal basis

• Replying to your enquiry and preparing a proposal: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Working together: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal obligations such as keeping invoices (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Site security, abuse prevention and cookieless analytics: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Google Analytics: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

I don’t use your data for advertising, I don’t sell it, and I don’t make automated decisions about you.

Who I share data with

I rely on a few service providers to run the site and handle communication. They process data only for these purposes:

• Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting, security (Turnstile), email forwarding and basic analytics.
• Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.: the mailbox where enquiries arrive, and Google Analytics (only with your consent).
• Resend, Inc.: sending email from hi@alesprijatelj.com (servers in the EU).

Transfers outside the EU

Some of these providers are based in the United States. Data transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long I keep data

I keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for (replying to your enquiry and any further cooperation), or as long as the law requires (e.g. keeping invoices). When the data is no longer needed, I delete it.

Cookies

The site itself doesn’t use cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*, valid for up to 2 years) only if you allow it in the banner. Your choice is stored in your browser.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the button below.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise your rights, email me at hi@alesprijatelj.com. I’ll reply within one month.

Complaints

If you believe I’m processing your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.

Changes

I update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page, with the last updated date at the top, always applies.
